The Certificate IV in Business Administration will help students gain skills and confidence for employment in an office administration role.

The Certificate IV in Business Administration is a nationally recognised accredited course designed to help students gain skills and knowledge that will enhance employment prospects in an office administration role. The course runs over 24 months although this will depend on the skills and experience of the student. We offer the course On The Job or online. A workplace mentor/supervisor will also be appointed to assist on the job students.

Entry requirements: Satisfactory performance in a skills test, any Certificate III in a business related area, employment in an administrative role, or desire for employment in an administrative role.

In support of your enrolment, we allocate study days with a trainer/assessor and students also have complimentary access to our computing courses. You will also have access to Career Boss’ training website where all resource, reference and assessment material is provided.

The following is a list of all course units available through Career Boss. Certificate IV in Business Administration requires you to complete the following:

    • 5 Elective Units must be selected from the Group A units listed below
    • 5 Elective units may be selected from the Group A or Group B units listed below, or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at the same qualification level
    • If not listed below, 1 elective unit may be selected from either a Certificate III or Diploma qualification
    • BSBITU307 Develop keyboarding speed and accuracy cannot be selected as an elective unit for this qualification
    • Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome
