The Certificate III in Business Administration will help students to gain skills to successfully fulfill an office support role.

The Certificate III in Business Administration is a nationally recognised accredited course designed to help students gain skills and knowledge that will enhance employment prospects in an office support role. The course runs over 18 months although this will depend on the skills and experience of the student. We offer the course On The Job or online.

A workplace mentor/supervisor will also be appointed to assist on the job students.

There are no pre-requisites however there is scope for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) from previous study of a business related Certificate course or employment in an administrative role

You will gain skills in: communication, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, desktop publishing, PowerPoint, scheduling, teamwork, working with clients, workplace health and safety, accounts.

In support of your enrolment, we allocate study days with a trainer/assessor and students also have complimentary access to our computing courses. You will also have access to Career Boss’ training website where all resource, reference and assessment material is provided.

The following is a list of the course units available through Career Boss. The Certificate III in Business Administration requires you to complete:

  • one mandatory core unit
  • seven administration units – selected from the Administration Units below
  • four elective units – selected from the remaining Administration Units or Business Elective Units below
